Service Description
Do you need a professional evaluation of your Hebrew proficiency for academic studies, the workplace, or simply for your own personal growth? I am Aviv Bertele (MA), founder of UAB. I have been teaching Hebrew since 2009, including tenures at Tel Aviv University. Over the years, many Olim Chadashim (new immigrants) and international students have reached out to me for formal written and oral assessments of their Hebrew skills. I have always been happy to assist, and I’ve now decided to officially offer this service to anyone who needs it. How it Works: Digital Diagnostic: The process begins with a digital written exam that you complete independently. All you need is a Hebrew keyboard on your computer or mobile device. Personal Zoom Session: We will meet on Zoom for a 30-minute conversation. During this time, we will review your exam results and assess your conversational Hebrew abilities. Official Certification: Following our meeting, I will prepare a formal assessment document in either Hebrew or English (at your choice) for the institution or individual requesting it. If you require an online assessment form to be completed for an academic institution, I am happy to handle that for you as well. Ready to get started? Cancellation Policy
1. Students have the right to cancel their enrollment and receive a full refund, minus a cancellation fee of 400 NIS, provided the cancellation is done at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the course. 2. If cancellation occurs between 14 days and 72 hours before the course's start date, a credit equivalent to the amount paid will be extended to the student. This credit can be applied towards any course in the following semester and remains valid for a period of 12 months. 3. Should a student cancel their enrollment within 72 hours of the course's starting date, please note that neither a refund nor a credit towards future courses will be available. 4. Once booked, 1-on-1 sessions cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Please note, exceptions may be made under special circumstances at the discretion of the administration. It's always best to reach out to us if there are any doubts or queries regarding this policy.
