Service Description
Are you feeling unsure about your Hebrew proficiency, even though you’ve studied the language before? Let's figure it out together. You can book a personal 30-minute Zoom session with me to assess your skills. I have been teaching Hebrew since 2009 and founded the UAB Ulpan in 2015. Teaching Hebrew is my absolute passion, and I am here to help you pinpoint exactly where you stand. I highly recommend this assessment if you have previously studied Hebrew at a university, another ulpan, or with a private tutor. However, if your knowledge is currently limited to the alphabet and a few basic words, you can skip this process entirely and enroll directly in our A1 course. Because I take our work together seriously, I require everyone to finish the written portion of the test before our oral interview. When you pick your interview time, please make sure to give yourself at least 1 to 2 hours of buffer time beforehand to complete and submit the written part. To put it simply, the placement process has two parts: a written section sent online for you to complete at your own pace, and a short oral chat on Zoom with me. Please note: Because this assessment includes a dedicated, one-on-one session, the service is non-refundable in accordance with UAB policy. Cancellation Policy
1. Students have the right to cancel their enrollment and receive a full refund, minus a cancellation fee of 400 NIS, provided the cancellation is done at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the course. 2. If cancellation occurs between 14 days and 72 hours before the course's start date, a credit equivalent to the amount paid will be extended to the student. This credit can be applied towards any course in the following semester and remains valid for a period of 12 months. 3. Should a student cancel their enrollment within 72 hours of the course's starting date, please note that neither a refund nor a credit towards future courses will be available. 4. Once booked, 1-on-1 sessions cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Please note, exceptions may be made under special circumstances at the discretion of the administration.
