Service Description

Prerequisite: G1 or placement test The G2 is for those who have completed level G1. It is designed to prepare students to use more advanced Hebrew in their daily lives by integrating the past, present, and future tenses they have learned with irregular verbs, 4-letter roots, advanced conjunctions and new vocabulary covering a wide range of topics. We will watch a documentary exploring the role of women in the Israeli army, read a short story by Etgar Keret and discuss aspects of Israeli society and democracy, such as the ethics of euthanasia. Through these and other activities, students will become more familiar and comfortable with new types of verbs and more advanced syntax. During the last week of the course, students will be required to take a test in order to qualify for the next level, D1 and continue their Hebrew studies. They will be graded on their oral and written work and based on their in-class effort and on the test. If you live overseas or simply feel comfortable learning from home, you can join our online G2 Course where the same level of Hebrew is taught just through Zoom. This course also runs over 10 weeks, and in no time you will have immersed yourself in the Hebrew language. ​*Online courses are held through the Zoom app and include a workbook specially developed by Aviv Bertele and access to a vocabulary app tailored to your class level.

Cancellation Policy

1. Students have the right to cancel their enrollment and receive a full refund, minus a cancellation fee of 400 NIS, provided the cancellation is done at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the course. 2. If cancellation occurs between 14 days and 72 hours before the course's start date, a credit equivalent to the amount paid will be extended to the student. This credit can be applied towards any course in the following semester and remains valid for a period of 12 months. 3. Should a student cancel their enrollment within 72 hours of the course's starting date, please note that neither a refund nor a credit towards future courses will be available. 4. Once booked, 1-on-1 sessions cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Please note, exceptions may be made under special circumstances at the discretion of the administration.
