Welcome to UAB’s Fluent Week. Have you been studying at an Ulpan for a while but just can't seem to break the fluency line? It’s time to stop studying and start speaking. The Concept: Just Speaking. No Homework. No Excuses. This isn’t your typical Hebrew class. This is a conversational club designed for those who have the foundation but need the practice to finally feel at home in the language. We’ve stripped away the textbooks and the homework to focus on one thing: non-stop speaking. How we do it: We use the best "trigger" for natural conversation—modern Israeli TV. During this immersive week, we will watch the acclaimed Israeli series "Mekom Sameach" (A Happy Place) together. The show—a brilliant dramedy about family, personal crises, and transformation—serves as our jumping-off point. We don’t just watch; we react, debate, and discuss the themes, the slang, and the cultural nuances. The series is the catalyst, but the "Fluent Hebrew Week" is all about your voice. What to expect: - Zero Homework: Your work starts and ends in the classroom. - Immersive Discussion: High-intensity speaking practice in a supportive environment. - Cultural Context: Deep dives into Israeli society through the lens of modern media. - Confidence Building: Breaking the "fluency barrier" by talking through real-life emotions and situations. Prerequisite: Initial Consultation with Aviv Bertele (Designed for Gimmel level and above).

Cancellation Policy
1. Students have the right to cancel their enrollment and receive a full refund, minus a cancellation fee of 400 NIS, provided the cancellation is done at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the course. 2. If cancellation occurs between 14 days and 72 hours before the course's start date, a credit equivalent to the amount paid will be extended to the student. This credit can be applied towards any course in the following semester and remains valid for a period of 12 months. 3. Should a student cancel their enrollment within 72 hours of the course's starting date, please note that neither a refund nor a credit towards future courses will be available. Additionally, switching between classes is not permitted within this 72-hour period. 4. Once booked, 1-on-1 sessions cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Please note, exceptions may be made under special circumstances at the discretion of the administration. It's always best to reach out to us if there are any doubts or queries regarding this policy.
