Service Description

Prerequisite: A3 or placement test The B1 Course is designed for students who have completed Kita Aleph (Aleph+/Aleph++) and wish to continue improving their speaking, reading, and writing skills. In this course you will be introduced to future tense and learn new prepositions (אל, על, אצל, בשביל ובגלל). We will work on Bet-level texts that will help you improve your language skills and build your vocabulary. The goal of the course is for you to gain confidence in your skills so that you can comfortably use Hebrew in your daily life. We will achieve this by reading more complex texts, learning popular songs, and by holding discussions on topics like Love & Relationships, current events in Israel and cooking (which includes a video assignment!) During the last week of the course, students will be required to take a test in order to qualify for the next level, B2 and continue their Hebrew studies. They will be graded on their oral and written work and based on their in-class effort and on the test. This course is held at our comfortable and inviting Tel Aviv ulpan and includes a workbook specially developed by Aviv Bertele and access to a vocabulary app tailored to your class level.

Cancelation Policy

​​1. Students may cancel enrollment and receive a full refund (with a 400 NIS cancellation fee) up to 2 weeks before the course starts. 2. Cancellation between 2 weeks and 3 days before the course starts will be refunded in credit for the following semester only (valid for 12 months only). 3. Cancellation for any reason within 72 hours before the course starts is not refundable or eligible for credit towards future courses. 4. 1-on-1 sessions are non-refundable once booked.
