Bet

This course is designed for students who have completed Kita Aleph (Aleph+/Aleph++) and wish to continue improving their speaking, reading, and writing skills. In this course you will be introduced to future tense and learn new prepositions (אל, על, אצל, בשביל ובגלל). We will work on Bet-level texts that will help you improve your language skills and build your vocabulary. 

The goal of the course is for you to gain confidence in your skills so that you can comfortably use Hebrew in your daily life. We will achieve this by reading more complex texts, learning popular songs, and by holding discussions on topics like Love & Relationships, current events in Israel and cooking (which includes a video assignment!)

During the last week of the course, students will be required to take a test in order to qualify for the next level, Bet+ and continue their Hebrew studies. They will be graded on their oral and written work and based on their in-class effort and on the test. 

If you live overseas or simply feel comfortanble learning from home, you can join our online Bet Course where the same level of Hebrew is taught just through Zoom. This course also runs over 10 weeks, and in no time you will have immersed yourself in the Hebrew language.

*In-person courses are held at our comfortable and inviting Tel Aviv ulpan wheares online courses are held through the Zoom app. BOTH COURSES include a workbook specially developed by Aviv Bertele and access to a vocabulary app tailored to your class level.
