Service Description
Prerequisite: G1 or placement test The G2 is for those who have completed level G1. It is designed to prepare students to use more advanced Hebrew in their daily lives by integrating the past, present, and future tenses they have learned with irregular verbs, 4-letter roots, advanced conjunctions and new vocabulary covering a wide range of topics. We will watch a documentary exploring the role of women in the Israeli army, read a short story by Etgar Keret and discuss aspects of Israeli society and democracy, such as the ethics of euthanasia. Through these and other activities, students will become more familiar and comfortable with new types of verbs and more advanced syntax. During the last week of the course, students will be required to take a test in order to qualify for the next level, D1 and continue their Hebrew studies. They will be graded on their oral and written work and based on their in-class effort and on the test. The course is held at our comfortable and inviting Tel Aviv ulpan and includes a workbook specially developed by Aviv Bertele and access to a vocabulary app tailored to your class level.
