Service Description
Prerequisite: B3 or Placement Test For the first time in UAB's history, we are thrilled to introduce an online intensive course format with our G1 Course. This pioneering approach merges the convenience of online learning with the deep engagement of an intensive course. Designed for those who have completed level B3, the course focuses on mastering the future tense and enhancing fluency with passive verbs. Advanced syntax, enriched grammar, and an expanded verb bank are integrated to broaden your vocabulary and boost confidence in speaking. As we explore contemporary Israeli societal issues, such as rabbinical views on medical marijuana, ethics in embryo science, and the dynamics of minor employment, students will gain insights through Israeli literature, newspapers, and Hebrew poetry, enhancing their speaking, reading, and writing skills. The culmination of the course is a mandatory assessment in the final week, which evaluates oral and written proficiency, classroom participation, and overall effort. This assessment is key for progressing to the next level, G2. Embracing the unique opportunities of this winter edition, we've included additional study hours for a comprehensive and relaxed learning experience. Students are encouraged to dedicate 1-2 hours daily for review to fully absorb each lesson. For those abroad or preferring home-based learning, our online G1 Course offers the same high-quality curriculum via Zoom. Participants will receive a specially designed workbook by Aviv Bertele and access to a class-level-specific vocabulary app. Our innovative online courses, delivered through Zoom, provide an immersive and interactive learning environment, complete with all necessary resources for success.
