Prerequisite: Aleph+ or placement test The Advanced Aleph Course is aimed towards those who have completed some or all of level Aleph and want to strengthen their speaking, reading, and writing skills. The course focuses on the past tense and building your confidence in order to naturally incorporate its use into daily use. You will continue to enhance your vocabulary by learning words that are essential in daily activities and interactions. We will cover topics such as clothes, shopping, animals, and much more. You will also improve your grammar skills through discussions relevant to Israeli society: "Going to the army" and "Cultural diversity in Israel". By the end of the course, you will see an improvement in your ability to express yourself and understand those around you. On the last week of the course, students will be required to take a test in order to qualify for the next level, Bet and continue their Hebrew studies. They will be graded on their oral and written work and based on their in-class effort and on the test. Following the Two-week-Aleph-course, UAB is offering the next level, Bet, as an Intensive course. *This course is held at our comfortable and inviting Tel Aviv ulpan and includes a workbook specially developed by Aviv Bertele and access to a vocabulary app tailored to your class level.
