Service Description

The main goal of the A1 Course is for students with little to no knowledge of Hebrew to acquire tools primarily for speaking Hebrew, but also for reading and writing. In addition, we'll work on raising students' confidence in using Hebrew in and outside of the classroom and in their day to day lives in Israel. We will learn the grammar, vocabulary, and syntax of Hebrew through exposure to various linguistic structures and through encounters with Israeli culture. A main focus will be on enabling students to initiate and hold conversations with Israelis across a spectrum of ages, professions and beliefs, and in a variety of daily situations, in order to help them become better acquainted with Israeli society. During the last week of the course, students will be required to take a test in order to qualify for the next level, A2 and continue their Hebrew studies. They will be graded on their oral and written work and based on their in-class effort and on the test. This course is held at our comfortable and inviting Tel Aviv ulpan and includes a workbook specially developed by Aviv Bertele and access to a vocabulary app tailored to your class level.

Cancelation Policy

1. Students have the right to cancel their enrollment and receive a full refund, minus a cancellation fee of 400 NIS, provided the cancellation is done at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the course. 2. If cancellation occurs between 14 days and 72 hours before the course's start date, a credit equivalent to the amount paid will be extended to the student. This credit can be applied towards any course in the following semester and remains valid for a period of 12 months. 3. Should a student cancel their enrollment within 72 hours of the course's starting date, please note that neither a refund nor a credit towards future courses will be available. 4. Once booked, 1-on-1 sessions cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Please note, exceptions may be made under special circumstances at the discretion of the administration.
